Those Who Nomi

The tragic final days of post-punk opera popstar Klaus Nomi were the result of a woefully-misunderstood disease; he died isolated and alone. This piece (a nod to the medieval pieta (Italian: "pity") depicts Nomi's final moments with someone familiar there to lament his passing.

The original artwork was commissioned for a private collection.
