Wave of Hope

Inspired by ancient Japanese woodblock printing, this painting features then-senator Barack Obama confidently riding his surfboard down a seemingly unconquerable wave. In 2008 there were 1000 prints made, each signed and numbered. It reached a wide audience and sold out later that year.
